Thorn of Emberlain by Scott Lynch is one of my most-anticipated forthcoming books. I know I'm not alone. From the moment that The Lies of Locke Lamora published, readers fell in love with Scott's work. If you haven't read the Gentlemen Bastards books, I highly recommend them. The characters are wonderful, the plots are intriguing, and Scott's prose is a joy to read. Unfortunately, according to Scott via his blog this morning, Thorn of Emberlain has been pushed into 2016. He talks about that decision and why he made it HERE. A quote from Scott about it:
"While this is not the outcome we’d hoped for, we have every expectation that this will ultimately do more good than harm. I will continue to try to keep you more closely informed of Thorn’s progress, and I don’t think it will be long before we’ll be able to announce that the manuscript is secure and the production process has begun. We’re very close."
When there is a release date, I will certainly post it!
